ELLA PENA SCHUNIOR, age 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2011 
at 6:00 PM at Greenbriar Nursing Home. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Pena and Anna Dixon Pena. Also 
her brothers, Frank Pena and Nicholas Pena. 

She is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas but worked at Chalmette General 
Hospital as an R.N. before retiring. 

She is survived by her only son, Richard J. Schunior, M.D., his wife Feronie and 
her four grandchildren, Deborah Schunior Morris (Kip), Sharon Schunior Trice 
(Shane), Michael David Schunior (Erin) and John Schunior. Also survived by six 
great grandchildren, Heather and Amanda Trice, Parker, Emily and Jack Morris and 
Noah Rylan Schunior. 

She will be greatly missed by her friend and caretaker, Donna Molitor and her 
son Jonathan. 

A private graveside service was held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Honaker 
Funeral Home. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Adrian Hall 
officiated.
