May 13, 1949 - January 7, 2011 Francis Thomas RenŽ, D.D.S. passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011 at the age of 61. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA. Beloved husband of Cynthia Woods RenŽ. Father of Etienne Francis RenŽ. Son of the late Miriam Segrave and Francis RenŽ. Brother-in-law of Sandra W. Liuzza, Robert E. and Bonnie S. Woods, David M. and Diane B. Woods, and Anthony J. Liuzza. He was "Uncle Grumpy" to Lauren L. and Michael Chad Solari, Abigail W. and Brandon W. Liuzza, Robert, Jr. and Erin E. Woods, Christopher M., Rachel D., and Ryan D. Woods, Madeline, Megan and Meredith Solari, and Gabriella Liuzza. Cousin of Marilyn W. Masson. Francis attended St. Dominic's Catholic Elementary School, St. Aloysius High School, the University of New Orleans, and L.S.U. School of Dentistry. He was a member of the Beta Xi Chapter of Theta Xi Fraternity. Francis practiced dentistry in Marrero, LA for 30 years and on the Northshore for 13 years. He was a Kenpo Karate Master for over 25 years and was very well respected in the martial arts community. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Road, St. Benedict, LA 70457 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
