JOSEPH VINCENT RECUPERO, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, January 28, 
2011,at Slidell Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Beloved Husband of the late Ruth S. Recupero. Father of Celeste Glass(David) and 
Joanne Schill(Dale) Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Michelle Gildea, Patricia 
White, Joseph Love, Stacie Hebert, 5 great grandchildren, Ally and Autumn White, 
Shawna, Isaiah and Ariela Hebert.

Age 94 years

A native of Winthrop, MA., and a longtime resident of Slidell. 

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Theatre. He was a retired 
school crossing guard in Slidell. He was a life long member of the Elks Club and 
a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1:00 P.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Monday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.
