MARY E. MERZ O'KEEFE, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 
at Ochsner Northshore Hospital in Slidell, LA. 

Beloved wife of John B. "Jack" O'Keefe for the past 54 years. Loving mother of 
Kevin O'Keefe (Kim O'Keefe), Paul O'Keefe (Terry O'Keefe), Peter O'Keefe (Tammy 
O'Keefe) and the late John O'Keefe, Jr. Daughter of the late Norman and Paula 
Merz. Sister of Richard Merz and the late Robert Merz. Also survived by 5 
grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

Mrs. O'Keefe was a native of Brooklyn, NY and a resident of Slidell, LA for the 
past 40 years. Along with her husband, Mrs. O'Keefe was a parishioner of St. 
Margaret Mary Catholic Church of Slidell, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell, LA 70460 on Saturday, 
January 15, 2011 at 1:00PM. Visitation will begin on Friday evening from 5:00PM 
until 9:00PM and on Saturday from 11:00AM until service time. Interment will 
follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, LA. 

In lieu of flowers, mass cards are preferred.
