McWilliams, 57, of Metairie and Covington, died Dec. 30, 2010. He was born Dec. 2, 1953, in New Orleans, the twin son of the late Elleonora Perrilliat McWilliams and William Kennon McWilliams, Jr., of Covington. McWilliams was a graduate of St. Paul's School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning a degree in geology. His love for geology was evident to all who knew him, and he was a successful entrepreneur and independent oil and gas producer with his twin brother, Paul C. McWilliams, also of Metairie. He is survived by two brothers, D. K. McWilliams of Madisonville, Paul C. McWilliams of Metairie, and three sisters, Penny M. Doster of Covington, Jennifer M. Cantrelle of Mandeville, and one younger sister, Rebecca M. Giveans of Houston, as well as 11 nieces and nephews all residing on the Northshore. A private family service was held Monday, Jan. 3, at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington. The family requests memorial tributes be sent to St. Paul's School, Covington, as McWilliams was an avid St. Paul's alumnus. ===================
