Shelby P. Jenkins passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011.

Beloved husband of the late Pearlie Jenkins. Father of Sharon Hickman Paige 
(husband Obie) and Sylvia Jackson (husband Michael). Grandfather of Shannon, 
Chris, Andy, Jodie and Ronnie. Brother of Charlie, Floyd, John, Ray, Clyde 
Jenkins, Ella Mae Johnson, Olecia Friloux, Evelyn Petree, Avi "Crick" Riles and 
the late Joe and J.B. Jenkins. Step-brother of Wilson, Hancel, Showalter, Irma, 
Aline Jenkins, Joy Neal and the late Tom, Wylie, Reuble, Raymond, Doyle, Adrian 
Jenkins and Vernie Hunt. Also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-
great-grandson.

Age 86 years. A native and lifelong resident of Covington, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on 
Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation from 9:00 AM until service 
time.

Interment in Shelby Cemetery.
