Dolores "Cookie" James died peacefully on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Jefferson 
Healthcare. 

She was born in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi on March 05, 1935 and lived most of 
her life in New Orleans. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Miriam Lilley and her father Rudolph 
Rody. 

She is survived by 11 children; Karen Perreira, Kim Perreira, Karlen P. Canfill, 
Kathee P. Alongi, Kristee P. Brown, Konnee James, Kolette James, David James, 
Denis James and Damon James; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Private Memorial Services will be held by the family at a later date.
