Muriel Gautreaux Gallagher passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2011.

Beloved wife of the late Coach Hubert "Hubie" Shields Gallagher, Sr. Mother of 
Hubert Shields Gallagher, Jr. (wife Lindsey), Muriel Mary "Sissie" Fortier 
(husband Ronnie), Eugene Patrick "Pat" Gallagher (wife Chyrl). Sister of the 
late Henry E. Gautreaux, Jr., Raymond J. Gautreaux and Byron F. Gautreaux. Also 
survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late 
Dr. Henry E. Gautreaux and Hazel Seawell Gautreaux.

Age 94 years. A native and lifelong resident of Covington, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, 
February 1, 2011 at 2:00PM. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 11:30 AM until 
service time. Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, St. Benedict, LA.

Memorial masses may be offered or donations to the St. Tammany Parish Hospital 
Guild may be made in her honor.
