RAYMOND JOSEPH CUCCIO, SR., of Slidell, LA on Monday, January 17, 2011.

Beloved Husband of Margaret Verheul Cuccio. Father of Susan C. Duhon(Robert), 
Raymond J. Cuccio,Jr., Lynn C. Stretzinger, Michael D. Cuccio(Sharon), and the 
late Terri Cuccio Bonnecarre. Brother of Yvonne C. Ordes and Rosalie C. Holmes.
Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

Age 81 years. A native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell. 

He was a retired Lieutenant from New Orleans Police Department and retired Court 
Administrator for the State of Louisiana Criminal District Court, Section C. 

He was a graduate of Loyola University and was a past president of the Fraternal 
Order of Police. 

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, a member of the 
Sons of Italy and V.F.W. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 1:00 P.M
Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
Visitation on Thursday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Masses preferred, in lieu of flowers.
