BERNADETTE "BERNIE" TREADWAY COURTNEY, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, 
January 15, 2011 at her home in Slidell, LA.

Beloved wife and best friend of the late Toxie Courtney, Jr. and former wife and 
companion of Paul Burnette. Mother of Toxie Courtney, III, Spencer Courtney, 
Sr., Charles "Tony" Courtney, Richard Courtney, Sr. and Babs Courtney Ryan.
Daughter of the late Myrtle Nielsen Treadway and Sylvester Treadway.
Me-Ma to Spencer, Jr., Chaz, Richard, II, Justin, Toxie IV, Corey, Taylor, 
Courtney, Dakota, Autumn, Kelsey and Shelby and Great Me-Ma to Richard, III, 
Aiden and McKenzie.

Also survived by 3 siblings and preceded in death by 4 siblings.

Age 66 years; a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for over 55 
years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a graveside service at 
FOREST LAWN CEMETERY, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST, Slidell, LA on Wednesday, January 
19, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.
