Charles E. Bennett passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at the Montana Veterans 
Home in Columbia Falls, Mont. 

Charles, aged 86 years, was born in Tylertown, Miss., the eldest son of Otis A. 
Bennett and Ina Graham Bennett. He was a former resident of Bogalusa, New 
Orleans and Covington. 

Charles was predeceased by wives Clara Slay Bennett and Dorothea Simmons 
Bennett. He is survived by daughter Sharon B Kennett of Whitefish, Mont.; son, 
Charles M Bennett of N. Ogden, Utah; brothers Jerry Bennett of Pensacola, Fla., 
and Otis Bennett of Bogalusa; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at 
2 p.m. Saturday Jan. 15, 2011 from EJ Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W.21st Ave., 
Covington. Visitatio is from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Internment is in 
Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made 
to First Baptist Church of Mandeville, 1895 Highway 190, Mandeville,LA 70448 or 
the charity of your choice.
