Frank Luther Beier passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011. 

Born in 1917 in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was a life long resident of New 
Orleans and a recent resident of Covington, LA. 

Beloved husband of Ethel Dannemann Beier, married for 70 years. Father of Frank 
Beier, Jr. (Lieselotte), Eric Beier (Sharon), and Karl Beier (Judy). Son of the 
late Gertrude Katherine Luther and Frank Julius Beier. Brother of the late 
Ernest Beier and Winnie Campbell. Grandfather of Karli, Kory, Frank III, Hans, 
Heinrich and Shayne Beier and Elizabeth Fisackerly. Also survived by 6 great 
grandchildren. 

Frank was owner/operator of Frank L. Beier Radio and the first independent 
marine electronics dealer in the south. He was a member of Friends of Harmony 
Masonic Lodge F&AM, a member of Deutsche Gesellschaft and Deutsches Haus, a 
founding/member of the National Marine Electronics Association, and a member of 
the NRA and Ducks Unlimited.

Private Funeral Services were held by the family.
