William Franklin Choat was born 1842 in Franklin Parish, LA and died April 15, 1915 in Richland Parish, LA. He was the son of Issac W. Choat and Catherine McAlister (both of which died in Franklin Parish, LA in the area that is now Richland Parish). William married Samanatha Ann Green Thomason June 29, 1964 in Franklin Parish, LA. The Children of William and Samantha Choat were: Isaac Lewis "Ike" Choat, William Thomas, and Henrietta Ann "Annie" T. Choat. William is buried in the Choat Cemetrey in the Mangham, Richland Parish area. Unfortunately, this cemetery has been lost and is now a field on a farm.
