Mr.& Mrs. Louis Preston Smith

The  above picture of Lula Morris Smith and Louis Preston Smith was submitted by their grandson, Richard Smith along with the following information about the couple:

Preston Smith was born Oct, 3, 1874 and died May 10, 1946. During his lifetime he worked as an overseer for 3 Scott Sisters and for the Bird family. He lived in the northern part of the parish.

Lula Morris Smith had three brothers Ollie Morris, Sam Morris, & Thorton Morris.

Richard's father, son of the above couple was L.P.Smith and his mother was Aline Goyne who was the daughter of Henry Bradford Goyne and Irma Lee Stokes Goyne.
