Leona Young

Services for Leona Young, 97, of Rayville, were at 4 p.m.

Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Earl

Sturdivent and J.B. Bell officiating.

Burial was at Rayville Masonic Cemetery.

She died Friday at a local nursing home after a lengthy

illness.

A member of Eastside Baptist Church, Mrs. Young was a native

of Sugartown.,Beauregard Parish.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edna Castleberry of

Rayville and Mrs. Bertha Spangler of West Monroe; a son,

Willie Ray Young of Shreveport; 14 grandchildren, 29 great

grandchildren, and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Billy Ray Parks, Bobby Cumpton, Johnny

Eubanks, Herbert Joiner and Milton Grantham.
