Funeral services for Mrs. Lorena T. Brooks, 70, will be at 2:00 PM Friday, 
April 10, 2009 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA with Rev. Roger Johnson 
officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mrs. Brooks was born on September 15, 1938 in Savannah, AR and passed away on 
April 8, 2009 in Eunice, LA. Mrs. Brooks was longtime resident of Sterlington 
and was currently residing in Eunice, LA with her sister and nephew Barbara and 
Randy Aucoin.

She was previously employed with Sterlington Hospital and was the 
owner/operator of Rena Tanning Salon.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brooks.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by her three children: Glenda Linzel and husband, 
Steve, Bo Toney and wife, Lisa, and Neacie Turner and husband, Jeff; sisters: 
Barbara Aucoin and Audrey Corville; grand children: Shelly, Tara, Jerard, Erin, 
Bailey, Trent, and Jenna; and her great grandchild: Ashley; and a host of 
nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
