This ia a picture of John Kenyon Miley taken about 1900. He was born 1847 in
Mississippi and died 1922 in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana.He was a shoemaker by
trade. He had about 20 children. He was married first to Frances B. Keen and
second to Matilda Caroline Johnson.  He is buried in Beaver Creek Cemetery in
Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. Some of his children lived and died near Glenmora
in Rapides Parish.

The picture was supplied by Gerald Wayne (Butch) Duplissey of Deville,
Louisiana. He is a relative of John Miley.
