This is a copy of a picture postcard made by Griffin Studio of the Railroad Bridge over the flooded Ouachita River. Note the curved track around the building next to the bridge. This is the building of the Swift Company. There was no levee on the Ouachita at this time.

Note, looking up the river you can see this was prior to the buildingof the Louisville Bridge. Union Oil Mill can be seen on the West Monroe side of the Ouachita River.
