Josiah "Joe" Sterling Simmons

Josiah "Joe" Sterling Simmons (b. 31-Jul-1853 - d. 22-Jul-1903) son of Asa Bailey Simmons and Temperance Sterling. Josiah better know as Joe born, lived and died in Lincoln Parish Louisiana. Photo taken ca 1875.

Photo was mostly likely given to Abel Averhart Simmons by his brother Josiah, then passed to Abel's daughter Jamie Floice Simmons, then passed to Jamie’s daughter Floice Reeta Link, then passed to Floice's granddaughter, my wife Susan Aragon. Unless otherwise stated many of the photos I'm posting were in the possession of Jamie Floice Simmons Link (1889-1962).
