Married Feb 5, 1891, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. John Robert was the son of Nathaniel Erwin and Martha McCann Kendrick. Mesie was the daughter of Joseph Samuel and Sarah A. Hilburn. All buried in the Kendrick Cemetery.
