Frann S. Clark
          Funeral services for Frann S. Clark, 71, of DeRidder, will be held 
            at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 
            in DeRidder, with Dr. Rod Smith and Rev. Alan Knuckles officiating. 
            Burial will follow in Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder under the direction 
            of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. She passed away Monday, 
            Feb. 16, 2009, at Medical City Hospital, Dallas, Texas. 
            She was born in McComb, Miss. and was reared in Kentwood. She graduated 
            from Kentwood High School and completed her undergraduate work at 
            Southeastern and McNeese University earning her degree from Southeastern 
            in 1957. She received her master's in education from McNeese State 
            and plus 30 credits from LSU, Northwestern, and McNeese. She was very 
            active in the DeRidder Civitan Club and established the DeRidder Junior 
            Civitan Club in 1976. She is an active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist 
            Church and a member of the DAR. 
            Frann is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Riley F. Clark, 
            Jr. She is survived by sons, Riley Keith Clark and wife Sandra of 
            Henderson, Ken., and Steven Kerry Clark and wife Rhonda of Commerce, 
            Texas; daughters, Constance R. Clark and husband Vernon of DeRidder 
            and Krista Lea Clark Reese and husband Ricky of Anacoco; one brother, 
            Dr. Rod Smith and wife Vivian of Laurel, Miss; Eleven grandchildren 
            and three great grandchildren. 
            Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 
            9 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, and from 10 a.m. 
            until time of service, Thursday, Feb. 19, at Pleasant Hill Baptist 
            Church in DeRidder.
