Howard BlackHe was a native of Shelby County, where he was born to the late Luther and Mary Bondurant Black on Sept. 7, 1885. He had been a member of the Kentucky Bar Association more than 50 years. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. J. H. Edmondsun, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; one half-sister, Mary Katherine McKenzie, Princeton, N. J., and several nieces and nephews including Ruth Powell and Mary E. Fint, both of Frankfort. Bearers will be Bruce Irvine, Carl Black, Hogan Hancock, Michael Judy, Vincent Biagi, William E. Johnson, Herbert Liebman and James Cotter. Members of the bar will serve as honorary bearers.
Susan Watts Campbell Died UnexpectedlyMrs. Campbell is survived also by a daughter, Jamie, and a son, Gordon Jr. Services are scheduled fro Friday afternoon at St. John's Episcopal Church her. Visitation will be Thursday in the chapel at St. John's. The Blackburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
George HulkerHulker, a native of Franklin County, was a farmer and retired employee of the State Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Frankfort Senior Citizens, First Church of the Nazarene and Men's Bible Class. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cola Wilson Hulker, and two sons, Herman and Roy, both of Frankfort, five grandchildren, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, several nieces and nephews. Bearers were Paul Hulker, Bobby Ray Dickerson, Lewis Barbour, Elbert Lewis, Marvin Sharfe and Paul E. Rogers.
