Franklin Goins Services SetA native of Franklin County, he was born Sept. 5, 1911, the son of the late Sarah Brawner Goins and Charles Edward Goins. He owned and operated Goins Dairy 15 years and was presently president of Goins and Goins Inc., Insurance, Real Estate and an auctioneer 35 years. He was a member of IOOF No. 6, a member of the House of Representatives from 1943 to 1945, and a former member of the Frankfort Kiwanis Club. He was administrative assistant to Lt. Governor Harry Lee Waterfield, and was a former member of the Board of Directors Investors Heritage, a member of the Frankfort Board of Realtors, and a member of the Kentucky Independent Insurance agents. A major property owner here, he was active in the Democratic Headquarters operation during the Ford and Carroll administrations. He developed subdivision's in Frankfort, Georgetown, Harrodsburg and Danville and was a member of the First Christian CHurch. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Slucher Goins, Franklin County; two sons, Edward F. Goins and Kenneth F. Goins, both of Franklin County; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Samson, Franklin County; one sister, Mrs. Stella Barbour, Franklin County; six grandchildren, Frankie Goins, Jennifer Goins, Keith Goins, Brian Goins, David Samson and John Samson, all of Franklin Co.; three nieces, Mrs. Charles Munson, Franklin County; Mrs. O'Neal Hester, Franklin County, and Mrs. Woodie Walden, Felicity, Ohio, and one nephew, Nelson Barbour, Franklin County. Honorary bearers will be Dr. L. M. Roach, Lyne Goedecke, W. T. Fowler, Melvin Ramsey, Wallace Southall, Jack Campbell and Ralph Lewis. Bearers will be Bailey Smith, John L. Hamilton, Cecil Powell, Bruce Dunagan, Harry Lee Waterfield Sr. and Jess Kinman.

Mrs. Nancy MorrowA native of Franklin County, she was born May 11, 1882, to the late Will and Delilah Moman Shingleton, and was a member of the Camp Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, J. D., James W., and Arthur Morrow, all of Frankfort, and Jess F. Morrow, Woodford County; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Purvis, Frankfort; Mrs. Laura Moore, Franklin County, and Mrs. Mattie Johnson, Springfield, Ohio; 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Jesse Brown Sr.A native of Woodford County, he was a retired stone mason and farmer and a member of the Glen's Creek Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Wiley Brown, Woodford County; three sons; Jesse Brown Jr., Woodford County; Jackie Brown, Shelbyville, and Billy M. Brown, Versailles; one brother, Dan Brown, Woodford County; two sisters, Mrs. Dewey Gravitt and Mrs. Maudie Nichols, both of Versailles; 14 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Elgin R. DuncanSurvived by his wife, Mrs. Della Tolson Duncan; three daughters, Mrs. Sara Hotham, Georgetown, Mrs. Alice Yount, Midway, Miss Jennifer Duncan, Lexington; two sons, James Emmett Duncan, Alabama, Jerry Reynolds Duncan, Pennsylvania; a brother, Clarence Duncan, Lexington; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services 1 p.m. Monday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home conducted by Rev. James F. Hall. Burial in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
David O. WrightWright died 1:10 p.m. Sunday at King's Daughters Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A native of Franklin County, he was a former employee of Bendix and a member of the St. John Baptist Church. He was the son of Mrs. Stella Wright, Frankfort, and the late Robert O. Wright. Survivors include his mother; a son, David Glen Wright, McDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Hutcherson, Frankfort, and a brother, James E. Wright, Waddy. The Rev. Doug Simpson will officiate at the service. Pallbearers will be Charles (Chick) Wright, George G. Quire, Stedman Massie, Charles T. Wright, Danny Hulker and Harold W. Clark.
Mrs. Florence RitchieShe was a native of Cincinnati, a retired saleswoman, and a member of the Versailles Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William C. Sanders, Jr., Frankfort; five sisters, Mrs. Jamie Walker, Mrs. Mary White, and Mrs. Virgie White, all of Lexington; Mrs. Dorothy Grayson, Fayette County, and Mrs. Mildred Hulette, Versailles, and one granddaughter, Kim Sanders, Frankfort. Bearers were Lewis Hulette, Mitchell Grayson, Ronald Hulette, Joe Foley, Riccard Disponette and Dr. Hubert Bruce.
Mrs. TincherA native of Scott County, she was born Oct. 1, 1902, the daughter of the late Mrs. Ludie Wilson Covington and Franks Covington. She was a member of the Stamping Ground Baptist Church and a member of the Georgetown Chapter Rising Star No. 115 of the O.E.S. Surviving are her husband, F. B. Tincher, Stamping Ground; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Kettle, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mrs. Price Hall, Frankfort; two brothers, William D. Covington, Upper Key Largo, Fla.; Robert Covington, Frankfort; one sister, Mrs. Sylvia Holoch, Alexander, Ky., eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Services will be conducted at Harrod Bros. Memorial Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Michael McLaughlin, assisted by the Rev. Lenwood Nichols, pastor of the Stamping Ground Baptist Church.
Mrs. WoolumsA native of Henry County, where she was born July 11, 1896, she was a member of the Buck Run Baptist Church and the Ladies Bible Class. Survivors, besides her husband, include five daughters, Mrs. Charles Bramer, Mrs. Elmer Owens, Mrs. Russell Baker, Miss Sally Mae Woolums, Midway, and Charles Woolums, Frankfort; 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Rogers Chapel by the Rev. Robert Jackson, pastor of the Buck Run Baptist Church. Burial will be in the family lot, Sunset Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Charles I. Bramer, Billy D. Sayle, Robert Owens, Morton McIntyre, Charles Bryant Buffin and Donald R. Roberts.
