ADAIR STUM IS DEAD IN CALIF.

Edward Adair Stum, 34, son of F P Stum, 538 East Broadway, died early this morning of acute Bright’s disease in Los Angeles, Calif., according to a telegram received by his father.

Beyond the fact that his son would be brought to Madisonville for burial, Mr Stum could announce no arrangements for the funeral, pending arrival tomorrow of his daughter, Mrs Warren Thorpe, of Macon, Ga.

Adair Stum left Madisonville several years ago, going to St. Louis, where he engaged in business for a time. Later he went to Los Angeles, where he has been about four years. He became critically ill yesterday, and his father was planning to leave last night to fly to his bedside, but later in the day, a sister, Mrs James Kennett, Louisville, advised her father she had received a message saying her brother could not live many hours.

In addition to his father and sisters, Adair Stum is survived by his widow, Mrs Louise Stum and his mother, Mrs Emma Stum.
