LOYL, LALE, LAGLE 11/17/97 Seeking information on the descendants of the three LAIL brothers, George, Peter and Henry who were present with their families at Ruddle's Station when it was taken by Captain Byrd and his Indian allies. The surname is sometimes spelled LOYL, LALE and LAGLE. George and Henry survived the attack. It is believed that Peter was killed. George's son, also George, nine years old was taken to the area of present Cape Girardeau County MO and raised by the Indians. He was my ggg-grandfather.
