A Browning

Mr. A. Browning was born in Hopkins Co., Ky. Jan. 1, 1837 and came to Crittenden County in 1856 and was married to Miss Mary C. Coker of Livingston County, Ky. in 1859. In 1860 he located in Livingston County and remained there until his death, which occured Dec. 5, 1890. His first wife departed this life in 1884, being the mother of 15 children, nine of whom are dead and six living. In 1885 he married Mrs. Eliza LaRue, widow of Dr. Marion LaRue of Salem, Ky. He had been a member of the Christian Church for a number of years. His funeral services were in the church in Salem. He leaves a wife and six children.
