HARRISON COUNTY; Do you know these surnames, HARRIS, MAUCK, APPLEGATE,PERKINS. If you have 2 or more as related then I think we might have a connection. I am looking for information on the family of Gilliam Harris, b 1794 NC. His wife Anne ?. I have a Deed that convey's land owned by Gilliam and his wife Anne dated Feb 2, 1830 in Jeffersonville, Harrison Co. Ind. Anne is still living. Census records for Gibson Co. June 1830 show Gilliam living with several of his unmarried children as head of household. No wife, I assume this means Anne has died sometime between Feb. 1830 and June 1830. Gilliam died in Gibson Co. 1843 and is buried in the Old Montgomery Cem. Gilliam's children married in both Harrison Co. and Gibson Co. Lydia m. John Mauck Harrison Co. Julian m. Andrew Applegate in Harrison Co.,Lousia m. Reese Perkins, Harrison Co. Samuel G. m. Catherine Mauck, Gibson Co. Solomon m. Augusta Pamela Crawford, Gibson Co. Other children, Emeline, Elizabeth. There is confusion on the names of some of his daughters as he calls her Emilia in his will dated June 1843. I have information to share on the decents of this man and his wife. WHO WAS ANNE? AND WHERE DID SHE DIE? Please respond via EMail I don't get here often. Thank you
