Second row left to right, first man holding a hat is the Great Great Grandfather of Olin Dale Clayton, Isaac Thomas "Tom" Towell. Third Row left to right, second young man with dark hair parted on the left side, is the Third Great Uncle of Olin Dale Clayton, William E. Sides. Isaac Thomas "Tom" Towell and his father William M. Towell and brothers John Towell and William M. Towell Jr. served in Company A Third Illinois Cavalry and all saw battle at Vicksburg, MS. William E. Sides served in Company C 143rd Illinois Infantry and was a Bugle Boy. His GAR badge is in the possession of Joann Keele cousin to Olin Clayton in Nokomis, IL.	143k	Jan 1999	Barb Clayton
