All of us who work in the USGenWeb were saddened by learning of the death of Robert A. (Bob) Ellis, Sept 21, 2011.
Bob, along with is wife Linda was a devoted volunteer in this project and has put many hundreds of records online to help others with their own research. Bob was particulary generous in sharing with Spalding County in the Georgia USGenWeb Archives Project but he has put online many many records across other counties in Georgia as well. His genealogy work will live on and help others for years to come. Bob will be missed by this project!
