These cemetery records were abstracted directly from the Lee County
Historical Society's book History of Lee County Georgia .
The request to post these records on the internet was taken directly to
the society and their full permission was given. The names and dates
that are listed are as they appear in this book which was printed
in 1983. I have tried when possible if no date is listed, to cross
reference the name with the Georgia Death Index and the Social
Security Death Index. Keep in mind the death records were not
kept until 1919 and unless the person received a social security
benefit they would not be listed on that index either. This was in
an endeavor to at least give an age if not an exact birthdate to
those in the cemetery. Keep in mind also, these are only indexes
with names and dates. To get specific information or parents names
