John B. Gordan LOGAN was the State Rep. from Banks County in 1921. Born Oct. 27, 1887, near Blairsville, Union County, son of Joshua C. and Elizabeth McCoy Logan. John B. Logan was a teacher in Banks County schools before he went into the practice of law in 1912. He was a graduate of Atlanta Law School in 1912 and was a member of the Democatic Executive Committee in Banks County for several years, as well as being a Mason, member of Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias. He served as Mayor of Homer and a Senator from the 33rd District, 1917-1918, 1947. Contributed by Jacqueline King fammaw1@alltel.net
