Fischer died yesterday in McKeesport Hospital. Mrs Fischer, 76, of 1103 Summit St., White Oak, was also a beautician and shop owner. Because of her pioneering research and publication of genealogical records, she was an honorary life member of the Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of White Oak and the Lutheran Women's Society. Her records appeared in the libraries of the Daughters of the American Colonists and Daughters of the American Revolution in Washington, D. C. Surviving are her husband, Frank C. Fischer; two sisters, Lulu Scholl and Maude Smith; and a brother, Edward Reagan. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in the Laycox-Jaworski Funeral Home, 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
