STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA   COURT OF EQUITY  MECKLENBURG COUNTY
Feb. Term, 1838

JOHN R. WILLIAMS
     vs.
R. McCOMBS et al

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that ANDREW J. PERRY, one of 
the defendants in this case resides beyond the limits of this State. It is 
therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the Charlotte Journal notifying said defendant, non-resident to be 
and appear at our next Court of Equity to be held for the County of 
Mecklenburg at the Court House in Charlotte on the 3rd Monday in August next. 
Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise, 
judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to them.
