STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA   COURT OF EQUITY        MECKLENBURG COUNTY
Feb. Term, 1837

SAMUEL H. SMITH and MARY, his wife
                vs.
ROBERT G. FLANNAGAN and others

It appearing in this case that the defendants, COLBERT FLANNAGAN and MORGAN 
FLANNAGAN reside beyond the limits of this State: It is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte 
Journal notifying said defendants, non-residents, to be and appear at our next 
Court of Equity to be held for the County of Mecklenburg at the Court House in 
Charlotte on the 3rd Monday of August next. Then and there to plead, answer or 
demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgement will be taken pro confesson 
and the matter heard ex parte as to them. Witness D. R. DUNLAP, on the 17th of 
May, A.D. 1837.
