STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA   COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS  MECKLENBURG COUNTY
Jan. Term, 1838

JOSEPH SMITH
   vs.
BRISTER N. C. WARWICK

Original Attachment: Levied on sundry articles of personal property, in the 
hands of WM. HUNTER and others, and them summoned as Garnishees

It is ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks 
in the Charlotte Journal notifying said defendant, BRISTER N. C. WARWICK, to 
appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County 
of Mecklenburg at the Court House in Charlotte on the 4th Monday in April next.
Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise, 
judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to them.
Witness BRALY OATES, Clerk of the said Court at office on the 4th Monday in 
January A.D., 1838.
