STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS  MECKLENBURG COUNTY

SAMUEL ROSS ET AL
      vs.
SHADRACH YARBROUGH 

Petition for Partition

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, SHADRACH 
YARBORUGH, resides beyond the limits of this State. It is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte 
Journal notifying the said defendant to be and appear at our next Court of 
Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Meckenburg County at the 
Court House in Charlotte on the fourth Monday in January next. Then and there 
to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be 
taken pro confesso and the matter will be heard ex parte as to him. Witness, 
CHARLES T. ALEXANDER, Clark of said Court at office on the fourth Monday A. D. 
Oct. 1842.
