ALEXANDER J. McLENAHAN
          vs.
SARAH McLENAHAN

Petition for Divorce

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that SARAH McLENAHAN is not an 
inhabitant of this state. It is therefore orderd by the Court that publication 
be made for three months in the Charlotte Journal and Charlotte Watchman 
notifying said defendant to be and appear at our next court to be held for the 
said County at the Court House in Charlotte on the 3rd Monday in February 
next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur or judgment will be taken pro 
confesso and heard ex parte as to her. Witness JENNINGS B. KERR, Clerk of the 
said Court at office in Charlotte on the 3rd Monday in August A. D., 1840.
