STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA   COURT OF EQUITY  MECKLENBURG COUNTY
Feb. Term, 1842

GEORGE L. MASSEY
      vs.
HEIRS AT LAW OF HENRY MASSEY, dec'd

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that B. S. MASSEY, H. T. MASSEY, 
MARY E. MASSEY, HENRY COOK, BENJ. H. MASSEY, HENRY B. MASSEY, AND L. H. 
MASSEY, Heirs at Law of HENRY MASSEY, dec'd, reside beyond the limits of this 
State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six 
weeks successive in the Charlotte Journal notifying the said defendants to be 
and appear at the next term of the Court of Equity to be held for the County 
of Mecklenburg at the Court House in Charlotte on the fourth Monday in August 
next, then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed, or 
judgment pro confesso will enetered up against them. Witness, D. R. DUNLAP, 
Clerk of the said Court.
