STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA  COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSION  MECKLENBURG COUNTY
February Term, 1836

JOHN IRWIN
    vs.
THE HEIRS AT LAW OF STEPHEN ALEXANDER, deceased

Scire Facias to Sell Land

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the Defendants, JAMES 
ALEXANDER, and MOSES ALEXANDER, two of the Heirs at Law of STEPHEN ALEXANDER, 
deceased, do not reside in this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court 
that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal 
notifying said non-resident defendants, to be and appear at our next Court to 
be held for said County at the Court House in Charlotte on the 4th Monday in
April next, then and there to plead or replevy to this petition filed. 
Otherwise, judgment by default will be entered against them. Witness BRALY 
OATES, Clerk of the said Court at office on the 2nd Monday in February A.D. 
1836.
