MARTHA FLANNIKEN
    VS. 
SAM'L FLANNIKEN

Petition for Divorce

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, SAMUEL 
FLANNIKEN, resides beyond the limits of this State. It is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte 
Journal notifying the said defendeant to be and appear at the next term of 
Court to be held for the County of Mecklenburg on the fourth Monday in 
February next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed 
or judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to him. Witness
J. B. KERR, Clerk of the said Court at office on the fourth Monday in August, 
A. D., 1841.
