April Term, 1837

IRWIN & ELMSJ
     vs.
WILLIAM CAROLAN

Original Attachment: Levied in the hands of THOMAS CHARLES and him summoned as 
Garnishee

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, WILLIAM 
CAROLAN is not a resident of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court 
that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal 
notifying said non-resident defendant to be and appear at our next Court to be 
held for the County of Mecklenburg at the Court House in Charlotte on the 4th 
Monday in July next. Then and there to show cause why this petition filed 
should not be granted to satisfy the Plaintiffs. Witness, BRALY OATES, Clerk 
of said Court at office on the 4th Monday of April, A.D., 1837.
