STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA  COURT OF EQUITY     MECKLENBURG COUNTY
Feb. Term 1839

D. F. CALDWELL and W. J. ALEXANDER
              vs.
JAMES HUIE and A. F. CALDWELL

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defedants, JAMES HUIE 
and A. F. CALDWELL, do not live in this State, it is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte 
Journal notifying the said defendants to be and appear at our next Court of 
Equity to be held for the County of Mecklenburg at the Court House on the 3rd 
Monday in August next. Then and there to plead answer or demur to this 
petition filed: Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex 
parte as to them. Witness, D. R. DUNLAP, Clerk of the said Court at Office in 
Charlotte on March 16, A. D. 1839.
