Prof. G.B. Hanna and Miss Nola Alexander Married

A special telegram received by the Observer from Van Buren, Ark., last night, 
stated that Prof. Geo. B. Hanna and Miss Nola Alexander, both of this city, 
were married yesterday at the residence of Judge Deckhard, in Van Buren, Rev. 
Edward Mack officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Hanna go to Baltimore to visit Mr. and Mrs. Sam Patterson, after 
which they will return to Charlotte and live at Mrs. Nethers', on Mint Street.

The bride is a daughter of Dr. A.W. Alexander, formerly of Charlotte, now of 
Lincolnton, and a sister of Dr. C.L. Alexander of this city. She is esteemed 
here and wherever known for her many fine qualities. The groom is assistant 
assayer at the mint, a position which he has held for years, and is honored 
and respected throughout the State as a Christian gentleman.
