MRS. BRADFORD DIES AFTER SHORT SPELL

After having been ill for several months, Mrs. L. A. Bradford, recently moved 
to Charlotte from Rock Hill, S. C., died at her home, 501 East Tenth street, 
Thursday night.

Mrs. Bradford was a native of Bishopville, S. C., but had spent the last six 
years at Rock Hill.  A week ago she and her daughter came to Charlotte to make 
their home.

The body was accompanied to Bishopville Friday.  The funeral will be held 
Saturday morning at Bethany Baptist church there.

Mrs. Bradford was the mother of Gene Donald former local newspaper man, who 
last Winter was connected with The Charlotte Observer.  He is now on the staff 
of The Atlanta Journal.

In addition to the son, two daughters, Mrs. C. G. Ferguson and Miss Eunice 
Donald, both of this city, survive, along with one brother, T. A. Baker, of 
Valdosta, Ga., and two sisters, Mrs. James M. Smith and Mrs. R. A. Northcutt, 
both of Bishopville, S. C.
