A "Tall" Meeting - Three Six "Feeters"

"When shall we three meet again?" was the question which three tall men who
met in Brown & Weddinton's retail store, yesterday, asked each other. One came
from the rear of the store, the other from the front, and the other was
standing at the office in the middle of the store. One was Mr. J. Walter
Potts, another Mr. John A. Newell, of Newell's, and the third Mr. J.W.
Parliere, contractor of the Second Presbyterian church. A dispute arose as to
the relative height of each, whereupon it was propsed that they measure. Mr.
Potts marked 6 feet 3 1/2 inches; Mr. Newell, 6 feet 4 inches; and Mr.
Parlier, 6 feet 4 1/2 inches. It was a pretty "tall" meeting.
