Miss Johanna Wehr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Wehr, was married Wednesday 
to Mr. J. William Struven.
The wedding took place at Zion German Lutheran Church, the pastor Rev Julius 
Hofmann officating. The bride was given away by her father. She was attired in 
a duchess satin empire gown, embroidered and trimmed with lace. She carried a 
bouquet of lillies of the valley.
Mrs. Frederick Bauernschmidt, a sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. 
She wore a lace gown over corn colored satin. The bridesmaids were Misses Ella 
Wehr and Viola Struven. They wore violet ???? gowns trimmed in silver and 
carried bouquet of violets and ferns.
The best man was Mr. Edward A. Wehr, of Pittsburg, a brother of the bride, and 
the ushers were Messrs. Charles M. Struven, Charles Wacker Jr., G.A. Krieger, 
Charles Find, and Harry J. Volker.
A reception at the home of the bride's parent followed the ceremony. Mr. and 
Mrs. Struven left after the wedding for a southern trip.
