A County Lady Marries a Count.

Miss Mry Ethel Small, daughter of Charles Wells Small, of this county, was 
married in Baltimore Monday night to Count Eugene S. K. Mitkiewicz, of 
Washington, D. C.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. E. Smith, rector of 
St. Michael and All Angel's P. E. Church.
  In reply to the questions of the clergyman the Count said he had been 
married twice before, but that both his wives were dead.  This was vouvhed for 
by the Count's acquaintances who accompanied him.
  It was stated that none of Miss Small's relatives were present at the 
marriage.  Miss Small, it was also stated, has been living in Washington for 
some time.  The count gave his address as Washington Circle, Washington city.
  After the wedding the party drove to Union Station and left on a late train 
for New York.
  Several years ago Count Mitkiewicz became well known through his connection 
with syndicates claiming to have obtained concessions from the Chinese 
government to build railroad and telegraph lines in that country.


On June 11, by Rev. C. Ernes Smith, Eugene S. K. Count De Mitkiewicz, of 
Russia, to Miss Mary Ethel Small, daughter of Charles Wells Small, of 
Baltimore county.
