ROSENDALE--Mrs. Fannie Rhoda Rosendale passed away Friday, March 7,
1919, at the home of her son Bert, west of the village, following
several weeks of illness, aged 86 years and 20 days.

The deceased was born in Holland, February 15, 1833 and came to this
country with her husband, Henry Rosendale, and family in 1881 locating
on a farm in this vicinity the same year.  Mr. Rosendale preceded her
in death in 1902.

There were four children born to them; Charles, John, Bert, and Clara,
two of whom, John and Bert, are survivors, together with five
grandchildren.

Mrs. Rosendale was a woman of many good qualities and was faithful to
the duties and demands of life.

The funeral services were held from the home at 1:30 o'clock Sunday
afternoon, conducted by the Rev. H.P. Fruhling, pastor of the
Congregational Church.
