From the Union Grove Enterprise Weekly Newspaper - October 1918

Mrs. Lawrence Anderson passed away at her home in this village on
Thursday evening, October 24, 1918, following several days illness with
influenza-pneumonia, aged 23 years, 4 months and 25 days. Mrs.
Anderson was formerly Miss Pearl Fitzgerald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Patrick Fitzgerald now of St. Paul, Minn. and was born in Chicago May
29, 1895. She was united in marriage with Lawrence Anderson and came
here to reside when Mr. Anderson took charge of the North Side Garage
about a year ago. Besides her parents and husband, she leaves two
infant children, the youngest being but a few days old, a brother and
sister.

The remains were taken to Chicago for interment in Mt. Olive Cemetery
on Saturday afternoon.

The death of Mrs. Anderson is a particularly sad one and the young
husband has the sympathy of the community in his bereavement.
