The Will of Clarissa Andrews

Be it Remembered, That at a Surrogate's Court, held at the Surrogate's Office
in Delhi, in and for the County of Delaware on the 19th day of February 1883,
the last Will and Testament of Clarissa Andrews, late of the town of Stamford
in the County of Delaware, deceased, was duly proved, before Jonas M. Preston,
Esq. Dist Atty & acting Surrogate of said County, and was by acting Surrogate
adjudged valid, and established as a Will of real and personal Estate, and the
same, together with the proofs and examinations taken on the probate thereof,
are pursuant to an order of the said acting Surrogate here recorded, to wit:

I Clarissa Andrews of the Town of Stamford in the County of Delaware and state
of New York being of sound mind and memory do hereby make publish and declare
this my last will and testament in ____and ___following, that is to say,

First, I will and direct that all of my just debts and funeral expenses be
paid out of my estate.

Second, I give devise and bequeath all of my property both real and personal
of every ____and nature to my son Dewitt C. Sharpe to have and to hold the
same to him his heirs executors, and administrator and assigns ___.

Third, I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said son Dewitt C. Sharpe,
the executor of this my last will and testament giving and granting unto him
full power and authority to sell any and all of my real estate at public or
private sale or he may declare__and to execute good and sufficient conveyances
to the purchase___at such sale or sales, as fully and perfecting as I might or
could do if living and I hereby revoke all other and former wills by me made.  

In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal this 12th day of
October 1876.

The above instrument consisting of a half sheet was upon the day of the date 
thereof signed sealed published and declared by the said Clarissa Andrews as
and for her last will and testent in the presence of us who at her request and
in her presence and in the presence of said others have subscribed our names
as witnesses hereto, the word "two" was underlined before signing.

William Dixon of the town of Stamford in said County of Delaware, and I. H. 
Maynard of the town of Stamford in said County, being duly and severally sworn
in open Court, do severally depose and say, that they were acquanted with
Clarissa Andrews late of the town of Stamford in said County of Delaware,
deceased, in her life time, and are the subscribing witnesses to her last Will
and Testament.  

That the said Clarissa Andrews did in the presence of these deponents,
subscribed her name at the end of the instrument which is now shown to them
and which purports to be the last will and testament of the said Clarissa
Andrews and bears date the 12th day of October 1876, and that the said
Clarissa Andrews did at the time of subscribing her name to said instrument as
aforesaid, declare the same to be her last Will and Testament, in the presence
and hearing of these deponents, who did thereupon at her request and in her
presence and in the presence of each other, subscribe their names at the end
of the said Will as attesting witnesses thereto.  That at the time thereof the
said Clarissa Andrews was of sound mind and memory, of full age to make said
Will, and not under any restraint.

Jonas M. Preston, District Attorney and acting Surrogate.

I, Jonas M. Preston, acting Surrogate of the County of Delaware, do hereby 
certify that the foregoing is a correct copy of the whole of the probate of
the last Will and Testament of Clarissa Andrews deceased, together with the
proofs and examinations taken on the probate thereof.
